Sabarathinam Srinivasan was born in Thanjavur, India in 1987. He received his bachelors and master degree in Physics at Raja Serfoji Government College, Thanjavur in 2007 and 2009 respectively. He awarded his PhD Degree in Physics with the specialization of Nonlinear Dynamics in 2016 at Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu, India. In his thesis, the detailed and systematic study on transient chaos in isolated, coupled and network of nearly conservative nonlinear oscillators are investigated. He awarded National Post-Doctoral Fellow (Principal Investigator) in 2017 for Studying the stability of the power grid using a network of nonlinear oscillators funded by DST- Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India at Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. (Project cost: 25K Euro). He is also one of the co-PI in Indo-Russian project on studying the hidden oscillation in a certain dynamical system [ongoing] (Project cost: 0.12M Euro). Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow belonging to the University of Zaragoza. His research interests are focused on computational modelling and biomechanical simulation in cardiac electro-mechanics for characterization of cardiac ageing effect on cardiac arrhythmia.
