Events generation by segmentation
An event is defined as a time interval which has associated some value. For example, an ischemic event, which starts at some point, the percentage of ST elevation characterizes it and ends.
The aim of segmentation is to achieve segments that accomplish the criteria that user wants.
As it is shown in the figure, the criteria for segmentation that the current version of BioSigBrowser has implemented involves: outliers based on standard deviation; maximum or minimum length and memory. Besides, two series can join the same criteria in order to both of them accomplish the requirements at the same time.
